Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is the Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since she was a teen, she has worked in both the traditional and popular music. However, her music interests have widened to encompass soul and hip-hop. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and renowned musician has described the voice of the new artist as sweet and sharp however with a bite. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical as well as commercial hit. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and received an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on the show on Saturday Night Live. Along with taking home three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
