Elizabeth Gillies was born in New York City. Gillies is an American actor and singer. Most famously, she is known for playing Lucy in musical 13 as well as Jade West, in Nickelodeon's Victorious. She was a child actress and appeared in many movies like Babel (2006) The The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 2008, and Phoebe in Wonderland 2008. The Critics Choice Movie Awards nominated her as the Best Young Actress in 2010 for Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. She received a Spotlight Award by the Hollywood thriller Fest in 2011 for playing the lead role for the character of Super 8. She then performed the lead role in comedies We Bought a Zoo (2011 and Ginger & Rosa 2012) and also as the role of Princess Aurora in fantasy films Maleficent (2014 as well as Maleficent Misstress of Evil - Maleficent Mistress of Evil, 2014 -).
