Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico, was born to the music-loving parents of her family. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the classic romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos. Also, she loves operas, and every form of drama. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense vocal instruction. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. As a student and young professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She has been involved with a number of local initiatives, both as a teacher and performer because of her love for art and music. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage other people to follow in her footsteps.
